DVD Catalyst

Ripping and converting DVD is simple and easy with DVD Catalyst. Here’s a simple guide that will show you the detailed steps about how to use DVD Catalyst.

1. Install DVD Catalyst. Download and install DVD Catalyst onto your PC and then launch the program.

2.  Import DVD movie. Click the Load DVD button    to import your DVD movie into DVD Catalyst directly from your DVD disc. If your DVD movie is stored on your computer’s hard drive in the DVD folder (VIDEO_TS) or ISO format, you can then click the small triangle icon on the Load DVD button to import the movie.

3. Select the main movie. When a DVD movie is imported DVD Catalyst will pop up a window with all the valid DVD titles.  The main movie title (the one with the longest time) is usually selected by default. Click OK the main movie will be loaded into DVD Catalyst.

4. Choose the subtitles and audio track you want. You can also double click the destination file name to rename the output file if needed.

5. Select output format and location. Click the profile buttons at the bottom to select your desired format. In the small pop-up window you can choose output format from the ‘Preset’ box (you can customize your settings by clicking the ‘Settings’ button ) and output location from the ‘Save to’ box.                                                                                                                                                             * Currently only the ‘iPhone’ format is available. More format profiles will be added in future updates.

6. Click the ‘Convert’ button to start conversion.

7.  When conversion is in process you can choose to ‘Pause’ or ‘Cancel’ the conversion as needed. You can also choose to ‘Shut down computer after conversion’. Usually it takes 20~30 minutes to rip and convert a DVD movie.

8. That’s all. Enjoy your movie!
